As San Antonio celebrates its 300th birthday, we pay homage to our rich history, and add a twist of something new. The 2018 SACC Signature Cocktail is like a visit with an old friend. Familiar. Comfortable. Welcoming. Still full of new stories to tell. Immediately you'll recognize the flavors in this cocktail, but then you'll notice a hint of chocolate, a different zest, and you'll welcome a new story with añejo tequila and agave nectar.

Tio Mio Recipe
2 oz. Herradura Añejo
1/4 oz. Agave Nectar
2 small dashes Angostura Bitters
2 small dashes Chocolate Bitters
1 Grapefruit Peel
In a rocks glass combine agave nectar, Angostura & chocolate bitters and stir until nectar is completely dissolved. Add tequila and ice to glass and stir gently, quickly and briefly. Zest grapefruit peel over cocktail and garnish. Serve.
